President’s Message – Short Threads from the Needle’s Eye…

I hope everyone had as wonderful a Thanksgiving as I did. So good to be with loved ones, no matter what the connection.

I must add one sad note that occurred shortly after the newsletter was completed. Our longtime member, Mary Jane Marazzini died at the very end of October.

We have completed our outreach projects for both Habit for Humanity of San Antonio and Meals on Wheels. Joan Vanderbrink will have more about those later in the newsletter. Please let the Board know what we should undertake for the next year to add to continuing to contribute to Threads of Blessing.

We are coming to the end of 2018 and the end of one Board’s tenure and the start of a new one. I have enjoyed being president mostly because of the hard work of the Board and the interest of the membership in both our own stitching projects and in our many outreach projects and our Seminar in 2020. Thanks to you all for our many successes!

I hope to see MANY of you at the Christmas Brunch on Saturday, December 8!!!
The party is such a fun event and we have all the members together-both the Day and Night groups! Wonder what clever ornament I’ll get this year.

I wish you all Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year of stitching!
